Cops think woman shot, just passed out in bloody Halloween costume

Birmingham police responded to a report on Nov. 1, 2012 that a woman had been shot - but she was just passed out in a bloody Halloween costume.

A female driver who Alabama cops thought had been shot to death was actually a drunk Halloween partygoer who passed in her SUV while wearing a gore-spattered pregnant zombie costume. 

Birmingham police found the woman slumped over the wheel at a stoplight at around 8:15 a.m. after other motorists reported a possible homicide, The Birmingham News reported. 

“You can see why someone thought she had been shot,'' an officer told the newspaper. 

A photo from the scene showed the partygoer in white face paint and covered in phony blood. A pregnant-looking bulge at her waist was part of her costume, cops said.    

She was charged with DUI and taken to a local jail. Her name wasn’t released. 

According to The News, the partied-out mommy zombie remained calm during the bust, telling the cops, “It’s all good.”
